Spicy Carrots with Honey Butter with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. baby carrots or large carrots cut into smaller pieces ½ cup water 
  • 1 package Honey Butter with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon (7 dollops) 
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes 
  • Kosher salt flakes – to taste 
  • Parsley Flakes for garnish 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a large bowl place carrots in a large microwavable bowl with butter dollops on top 
  3. Microwave for 1 minute on high 
  4. Stir to completely coat carrots with butter mixture 
  5. Place carrot mixture on baking sheet lined completely with a few layers of foil 
  6. Sprinkle with pepper flakes and salt 
  7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, flipping every 15 minutes to brown on all sides 
  8. Remove when soft and toasted brown on edges.
